A warm, poignant elegy about growing up, growing old and growing or not growing wise

We all have our secrets and private hopes and fears, but how many of us share these with our loved ones? The play follows the lives of four women who are joined by blood as their secrets gradually unravel. Their stories take us from childhood to old age as the cracks in their relationships widen and they find they have more in common than they thought.

The action takes place in Manchester, Oldham and London. The setting is not naturalistic and simply incorporates certain objects that connect the scenes. It should simply be a magic place where things can happen. While there is no set as such the use of light transforms you from place to place and time to time
