A blackout comedy that shines a light on human folly…
When a struggling young sculptor steals priceless antiques from a neighbour to impress his fiancée’s wealthy father, everything seems set for a perfect evening…until a power cut plunges the flat into total darkness.
In Peter Shaffer’s clever and chaotic farce, the audience sees what the characters cannot, as misplaced furniture, mistaken identities and multiple misunderstandings spiral hilariously out of control.
Black Comedy is a fast-paced theatrical treat packed with physical comedy, sharp wit and laugh-out-loud surprises.
This amateur production of Black Comedy is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
