Dunstable Rep is more than the people you see on stage. We’re a community of performers, makers, technicians, organisers and theatre lovers who come together to create award-winning local productions and keep The Little Theatre thriving.
Whether you want to perform, learn a new skill, meet people or simply support more local theatre, there’s a place for you here. You don’t need previous experience, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.
Step onto the stage
Our auditions are open to everyone, from experienced performers to people trying acting for the first time.
You don’t need to be a member to audition, although we’ll ask you to join Dunstable Rep if you are offered a role. Auditions are usually held around eight weeks before a production opens.
Help make theatre happen
Every performance depends on the people working behind the scenes and welcoming audiences through our doors.
You could help build or paint a set, find props and costumes, create lighting or sound, work backstage, join the bar team or become a hall manager. Some roles require particular skills, but many can be learned with support from our experienced volunteers.
